Today we are going to learn the crossover movement together.
We are now in the fourth session of the Persian Ball freestyle football course, Let’s learn the crossover move together, which is one of the most beautiful freestyle moves. The Crossover movement is one of the basic movements of freestyle football, which is combined with all movements of Lover’s style and makes beautiful Combinations. So the movement is very important and beautiful that you should know it very well.
I divided this movement into some Steps according to my teaching style, where we practice each Step together, and finally, with the exercises we have done together, we can do the Crossover movement together. You Did the Juggling training, you had one week to practice both the X training and the round-world training practiced. Now we have reached the Cross-over movement. To do the Cross-over movement, you must be able to Juggle if you can’t do professional freestyle JugglingI suggests that you go to the first training of this freestyle course and when you can do the style, then you can do the and basic movements of freestyle. As I told you in the X movement tutorial, the X movement, and Crossover movement are very similar they are, but in the Crossover movement, your legs will cross each other and you will hit the ball You can see the differences between X and Crossover movement in the images below.
The first step to doing the cross-over movement is to be able to perform a regular and correct Juggle, Make sure that the ball does not go in other directions and rises up straight and vertical. The second step is that you can release the ball using your hands and raise your weak leg and try to pass your legs around the ball and catch the ball again. Like the picture below: And try to do this movement 10 times. so that your legs can adapt a little to the conditions of performing the crossover movement. Also, if your right ankle gets tired, rest a little and do this exercise again.
The third step: The next exercise is the Jumping and Hitting movement, where you have to release the ball and when it hits the ground you should make a small jump and hit the ball, the requirement of this exercise as always is that you should pull your Toe up.
Fourth stage: In this stage, with the exercises done, there is no need for the ball to hit the ground when you release the ball, try to cross your foot quickly and hit the ball. If your ball goes forward at this point, it’s because your toe is not pointing up in order for your ball to come up, you need to direct your toe up. When your Toe is up, your ball will rise straight and vertically, and you can make several crosses.
In the fifth step, you do all these movements together, that is, you Juggle, and with an almost higher hit, you can do the crossover movement. Try not to perform the crossover movement hard, do not hit the ball hard, and do not have a high jump.
